FPC Reinforcement Machine
Background
The customer is an OEM with a FPC reinforcement machine, which is designed to increase the thickness and rigidity of flexible PCBs to enhance structural strength and stability. The machine affixes a rigid board to specific locations as needed and bonds the reinforcement material with the PCB to ensure a strong connection.
The Challenge
In order to create a strong bond with the PCBs, the equipment has strict specifications, including force-controlled pressure of 300-800g and a pressure range of ±10%.
